@spidra and @oliver - I am happy that you appreciate the effort going into this. If we start having the budget like the Oscars I am sure we can also accomodate your requests.

@dean will ping the server guy :)

@Cian Irish (and other countries) are a very good idea as long as there are enough podcast to choose from plus we find somebody to be jury in that particular language

@Jack as long as I understand the language, yes. But it was also fun to listen into some of the podcast I do not understand, gave you a bit of Holiday Feeling :o)

Congratulations to all the winners!

And once again a big thanks to the EPA for helping to promote the media and help both us find new audiences and help us find new podcasts to listen too.

What a shame!
What kind of announcement was this?
What about the good old "and the oscar goes to..." instead of just reading the chosen ones line after line just finish up in less then 2 mins???

Hope that the "big" final show in feb will be a bit more professional than this.

Best regards from bonn, Oliver

How about next year we have an Irish category? From the turnout at Podcamps all over Ireland, I'm sure there would be a fair few entrants.

Nice video. If you want to allow FLV download (good idea) you need to configure the server MIME types or else it's going to send strings of text. You can do that by editing .htaccess

I've been sitting in front of my computer for 15 minutes and only 18% of the video has downloaded from http://www.european-podcast-award.eu/. I still haven't gotten to the part where the winners are announced. Next time, please use common sense and just announce the winners in HTML. Then post the video on someplace that has enough servers to handle the load, like YouTube.
